We are full at the Jacksonville Humane Society! JHS will be offering half-price adoptions on all of our pets from June 29, 2022, through July 4, 2022. Additional fees such as the city rabies licensing fee, a leash, and collar, or a cat carrier may apply. Please note that we will be closing at 4 PM on July 4, 2022. Come check out the Fleming Island Saturday Market at the Village Square Shopping Center across from the Fleming Island High school. It’s held on the first Saturday of each month from 9:30 AM-2:00 PM. Our Market consists of many different vendor types. Arts~Crafts~Fresh Produce~Honey~ Sweets~Jewelry~Cosmetics-Clothing~Accessories~And much more! Check out our shopping center and restaurants too! Market parking is behind the buildings.

City of Jacksonville: 4th of July Celebration Fireworks Across JAX
Riverfront Plaza, 2 Independent Drive, Jacksonville, FL
Want to know where to find the fireworks in Jacksonville on July 4? Jacksonville’s Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration will return this year at multiple locations to celebrate the nation’s independence. At each location, the City of Jacksonville is offering a spectacular fireworks display that will begin at 9:45 PM on Monday, July 4, 2022.
Our Downtown Jacksonville celebration at Riverfront Plaza will kick off at 05:00 PM with Free entertainment including a concert presented by Miller Electric Company featuring Bryan Malpass and
DJ JHP Entertainment, a family fun zone including an inflatable skee ball, rollercoaster obstacle course, inflatable ax throwing, bounce houses, food trucks, and drinks.
The night will conclude with fireworks along the St. Johns River at 9:45 PM with viewing areas on both the North and South banks. Fireworks will be launched from the following locations throughout various communities.
We recommend arriving no earlier than 9:00 PM for the remote location events:
– Downtown Jacksonville
– 121 Financial Ballpark (following Jumbo Shrimp baseball game)
– FSCJ North Campus
– The Avenues Mall
– Trinity Baptist Church
– Ed Austin Regional Park
